The Office's Best Cold Opens
The Office is known for many things: Michael Scott, Jim & Pam's love story, Jim & Dwights love-hate relationships and being the best paper company in Scranton. But, something they definitely did better than anyone was the cold opens. Yes, that brief scene that happens just before the opening titles.
The Office definitely did this better than any other shows; in fact I do not think there are any other shows out there that have cold opens as good as The Office. The cold opens are a staple of many tv shows but The Office made it its own unique thing. The show has a lot of great, funny and memorable cold opens and I would argue that some cold opens alone are even better than other shows' entire episodes.
So today I decided to rank my top ten cold opens from The Office. Enjoy!
1- Dwight's fire drill
3- The KGB knock-knock joke
4- Michel hit Meredith with his car

5- When the DVD logo finally hits the corner of the TV

6- The one where Michael realizes Toby is back

7- When Jim blamed his murder on Dwight

8- The one where everyone is obsessed with planking

9- Stanley really doesn't notice anything
10- Michael and the IT guy... Yeah, Michal was terrible, terrible wrong about the IT guy.
